Meet Carmela

A Heritage of Love, Craft, and Creativity

My journey in floral design grew from years spent attending and participating in weddings, as well as my own background in ministry. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on marriage, inspiring every floral design I create.

Passion Meets Craftsmanship

I believe flowers serve a purpose beyond mere decoration; they tell a story and express emotions, celebrations, and commitments. Every design I create is intended to elevate your wedding vision and bring your unique wedding story to life.

A Creative Journey

My strong passion for art and creativity include upcycling furniture and interior design. I have explored various creative projects, including kitchen redesigns However, it was designing wedding florals for family and friends that led me start Carmela’s Flower Company.

Giving Back to the Community

In 2025, we will donate 5% of our proceeds to Thistle Farms, a non-profit justice enterprise that provides safe housing, meaningful employment, and a lifelong community of support to women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Fun Facts About Me

I’ve been playing the piano since the age of seven, and leading worship teams, choirs, and orchestras has been a big part of my life in ministry.

Christmas is my favorite time of year. I have an obsession with holiday décor that was featured in my hometown magazine a few years ago! Bringing joy and beauty into homes and hearts has always been a core part of who I am, and it’s this same spirit I bring to every wedding design I create.

My most cherished title is being called “Carmie” by my four incredible grandkids.
